Congress Party workers are upset over the Himachal government and the Congress party high command lightly taking the resignation letter given by former minister and Mandi District Congress Committee President Prakash Chaudhary through social media recently. Due to negligence, Congress workers and officials of Mandi District Congress Committee have collectively resigned from their posts.

In the meeting held at Prakash Chaudhary residence on Friday, District Congress Committee Vice President Ajay Thakur and Balh Congress Committee President Kuldeep Thakur said that after Prakash Chaudhary resigned from his post, all the officials have taken this step in his support. In this regard, he had given an ultimatum of two days to State President Pratibha Singh and Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. Rana, Tara Tungla, Lalit Thakur, Ashwini Walia, Maya Devi, Sher Singh, Mahendra Singh, Ghanshyam, Sarwan Nayak, Lalit Thakur and Vinod Guleria etc. are included.
