HRTC News: HRTC Will Give Three Gifts To People In The New Year, Travel In Buses Will Be Cashless
From the month of January itself, Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) is going to provide the facility of online bus pass to all the college students. Special software has also been prepared by the IT department of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) to provide the facility of online bus pass.
Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) is going to give three wonderful gifts to the people of Himachal Pradesh in the New Year. Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation is going to start providing excellent facilities like cashless travel, online bus pass as well as workshop inventory for the passengers from the month of January. The complete plan to formally open all three facilities for passengers by January 20 has been prepared by the Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation. In Himachal Pradesh, cashless travel facility will be provided to passengers in buses of all routes of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) from the New Year. The testing process of new hi-tech machines has also been started by Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).

After testing the hi-tech machines, trials of ticketing machines will be conducted by Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) at Shimla Local under Shimla division, Palampur, Hamirpur under Dharamshala division and Sundernagar depot under Mandi division. After the trial of the ticketing machines, an important decision has been taken to provide new ticketing machines to all the conductors of HRTC.
From the month of January itself, Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) is going to provide the facility of online bus pass to all the college students. Special software for online bus passes has also been prepared by the IT department of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC). After getting the excellent facility of online bus pass, college students will not have to stand in long queues to get physical pass made. In the month of February, school students can get school bus passes as well as concession cards online through HRTC.
Inventory will also be started by HRTC, complete account of all spare parts will be available online –
Centralized inventory will also be started by Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) in the new year 2024. The work of connecting Taradevi and Jasur workshops with the centralized inventory facility has been completed by HRTC. The work of connecting Shimla Local Depot, Dharamshala Local Depot with the centralized inventory facility is also going on at a fast pace by HRTC. Complete accounting of all spare parts, tyres and all other items will be made available online in the centralized inventory workshop. With the start of centralized inventory workshop, Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) management is going to keep a close eye on how much goods are available in which inventory.
On the New Year 2024, complete preparations are being made in full swing by the HRTC Board to provide smart ticketing machines, online bus pass facility and centralized inventory workshop to the passengers. Passengers will be provided the facility of cashless travel in HRTC Corporation buses. All three facilities will be started for passengers in the month of January.
