Three years of the new education policy have been completed. On this occasion, several programs were organized in educational institutions across the state to discuss the new education policy. Director of IIT Mandi, Lakshmi Dharvehra said in a press conference in Mandi that the new education policy Education will be promoted through this and many new courses will be started to provide employment to the youth.

He said that all such provisions have been made in the education policy, through which India’s dream of becoming a world leader can be fulfilled. Revised, we have given a lot of flexibility to our curriculum and students.

In today’s era, children prepare for IIT, but they do not know, what is their choice, what is their liking, so that is why we give a lot of flexibility to the children in IIT Mandi. For example, before changing the branch, The students who come here, want to change branch, then based on their performance in the first year, we allow them to change their branch.

We have started many new courses. This time we have started four new B tech programs in IIT Mandi. For example, we have signed an MOU with NIFT, where children acquire soft skills in design. So they can go there and study for six months. Some can study for six months in film making industry, animation etc. Some can go outside to university and study according to their interest. We have started this program on the completion of three years of the National Education Policy.

A program was organized at Navodaya Vidyalaya, in which a large number of educationists participated, during which the National Education Policy was discussed in detail. School Principal Surendra Kumar Tiwari told that in the new education policy, there is a provision to give separate funds to the school. And under this works like green school and organic farming will be done.

He said – Our school which is under PM 3 school, so this school, which is under these schools by India especially we have to develop infrastructure, green school program and organic farming which we have to develop all these gardens Special funding will be done for the things that are there and so that apart from the fund that the school has which is our normal routine fund, we can implement this school further towards NEP or whatever aspects we have related to NEP.
