Himachal News : Crowds of devotees thronged the pagodas on the second Monday of Shravan
Today is the second Monday of Shravan, on this occasion devotees of Lord Bholenath have gathered in pagodas across the state since morning and devotees are standing in queues and worshiping Lord Shiva.
Asia’s tallest Jatoli Shiva temple is also crowded with devotees and devotees are offering milk, water, bel patra and cannabis to Lord Bholenath and praying for prosperity.
It is believed that the month of Shravan is very dear to Lord Bholenath. All wishes are fulfilled by fasting on Mondays in this month. Especially married girls get a good groom if they keep fast on Monday.
A devotee told – People have a lot of faith here and a large number of people gather here. The tomb has been taken, so people have a lot of faith here.
A devotee told – Right now the month of Shravan is going on and the holy water that remains here, people take the water from here and it is believed that bathing in this water cures the skin etc. Now, for example, if someone has stones etc., then perhaps we have also heard that this also gives a lot of relief. Bathing in it is considered equal to bathing in the Ganges.
On the other hand, a large crowd of devotees is thronging Lord Bhootnath temple in Kulu since this morning and devotees are praying to Lord Bhootnath for happiness, prosperity and peace. A lot of crowd has gathered. A similar scene is also being seen at Bhootnath temple, Baijnath and other places.
