According to the news of Pakistani media house Dawn, a day earlier, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif had said that the government is considering banning Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over the incidents that took place on May 9.
Speaking to media persons in Islamabad, Khawaja Asif said, “No decision has been taken yet, but a review is definitely underway.
Earlier, Dawn had reported that the police department had sent the names of 245 PTI activists, including three former members of the provincial assembly, to the federal government for inclusion in the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL) to prevent them from leaving the country .
