HPBOSE Class 10 Result 2026 Declared: Kangra’s Anmol Tops Himachal with 99.86%, Pass Percentage Reaches 83.87%

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially announced the Class 10 board examination results for 2026, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of students across the state. This year, the board recorded an impressive overall pass percentage of 83.87%, reflecting strong academic performance by students.

According to HPBOSE Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma, a total of 93,661 students appeared for the Class 10 examinations conducted in March 2026. Out of these, 78,150 students successfully cleared the exam, while 8,433 students were placed in the compartment category. Meanwhile, 6,559 students could not pass the examination this year.

Kangra’s Anmol Secures First Rank in Himachal Pradesh

The highlight of the HPBOSE Class 10 Result 2026 was the outstanding performance of Anmol from A V M Senior Secondary School, Pahra in Kangra district. Anmol topped the state by scoring 699 out of 700 marks, achieving a remarkable 99.86%.

The merit list this year featured 107 students, and notably, 83 of them were girls, once again showcasing the strong academic performance of female students in Himachal Pradesh.

Students Who Secured Second Rank

Three students jointly secured the second position in the state with 698 marks (99.71%). These students are:

  • Roohani Dhiman from Government Senior Secondary School, Rapoh Missran, Una
  • Purnima Sharma from Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Bilaspur
  • Abhinav Mehta from Government Senior Secondary School, Rapoh Missran, Una

Third Rank Holders in HPBOSE 10th Result 2026

Alisha Thakur from Oxford School, Kotli Mandi and Ashwika from Neelam Public School, Bihru, Hamirpur jointly secured the third rank by scoring 697 marks, equivalent to 99.57%.

Four Students Share Fourth Position

Four students scored 696 marks (99.43%) and shared the fourth rank in the state merit list. These students include:

  • Knish from Bharti Vidyapeeth Public Senior Secondary School, Baijnath, Kangra
  • Ishita Walia from Bharti Vidyapeeth Public Senior Secondary School, Baijnath, Kangra
  • Asmita Sharma from Kid Buds Public Senior Secondary School, Panga, Hamirpur
  • Shruti from Dhruva Adarsh Vidyalaya, Chhiachhi, Solan

Eight Students Secure Fifth Rank

A total of eight students jointly secured the fifth position with 695 marks (99.29%). The students are:

  • Sakshi Kumari from Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Rohru, Shimla
  • Deepika from Government Senior Secondary School, Tatta Pani, Mandi
  • Harshita from Him Sarvodaya Senior Secondary School, Ghumarwin, Bilaspur
  • Abhimanyu Patyal from R K Senior Secondary Public School, Ghandalwin, Bilaspur
  • Diksha from Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Hatgarh, Mandi
  • Angel Sharma from Bharti Vidyapeeth Public Senior Secondary School, Baijnath, Kangra
  • Anshika Rana from Bharti Vidyapeeth Public Senior Secondary School, Baijnath, Kangra
  • Arushi from Kid Buds Public Senior Secondary School, Panga, Bilaspur

Girls Outshine Boys in HPBOSE Class 10 Results

The board data revealed that 48,097 boys and 45,079 girls appeared in the examination. Among them, 39,701 boys passed, while 38,449 girls successfully cleared the exam. Girls also dominated the merit list, securing 83 out of 107 positions.

Education experts believe that consistent preparation, digital learning support, and improved academic guidance have contributed significantly to the better performance of students this year.

HPBOSE Chairman Congratulates Students

HPBOSE Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma congratulated students, parents, and teachers for the excellent results. He stated that the board remains committed to ensuring transparency and maintaining quality in the examination system.

He also encouraged students who were unable to clear the examination not to lose confidence and advised them to prepare seriously for the supplementary examinations.

Re-Evaluation and Re-Checking Dates Announced

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply online for re-evaluation and re-checking of answer sheets. HPBOSE has opened the application process, and students can submit their requests till May 25, 2026.

The board has also made the Class 10 results available on its official website, where students can check their scores using their roll numbers.
