Himachal Pradesh Boosts Rural Healthcare: Rs 1.34 Crore PHC to Come Up in Haroli’s Baliwal Village

The upcoming healthcare facility will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.34 crore and is expected to improve access to medical services for residents in nearby rural areas.
Addressing the gathering, Agnihotri reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to every citizen, especially those living in remote regions. He emphasized that continuous efforts are being made to upgrade healthcare infrastructure across Himachal Pradesh.
Highlighting Haroli’s transformation, the Deputy CM noted that the region, which once struggled with basic infrastructure, has now evolved into a model of development and modernization.
He further shared that the 100-bed Civil Hospital at the Haroli sub-divisional headquarters is now equipped with specialist doctors across major departments. Advanced diagnostic facilities, including X-ray and ultrasound services, are also available, providing better medical support to patients locally.
In addition to the Baliwal PHC project, Agnihotri mentioned that a Community Health Centre in Beetan village has recently been completed at a cost of Rs 3.69 crore and is fully operational. Similarly, a PHC in Kuthar Beet village has been dedicated to the public, while construction of another PHC in Saloh village is progressing rapidly.
These developments underline the state government’s focused approach toward improving healthcare accessibility and ensuring that rural populations receive timely and quality medical care.
