Himachal Transfers Five IAS Officers, Assigns Additional Charges

Shimla, August 11 –
The Himachal Pradesh government has carried out an administrative reshuffle, transferring five IAS officers and assigning them additional responsibilities. According to orders issued by the Department of Personnel, the changes take effect immediately.

As per the notification, IAS officer A. Shainamol (2007 batch), currently serving as Secretary (Administrative Reforms, Training & Foreign Assignments and Public Grievances), has been given the additional charge of Secretary (AYUSH). Rakhi Kahlon (2008 batch), who was holding additional charge as Secretary (Digital Technologies & Governance and Jal Shakti Department), will now serve in these roles on a regular basis.

IAS Dr. Richa Verma (2012 batch) has been appointed as Managing Director of the HP State Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC), taking over from Rajeshwar Goyal. She will continue to hold additional charge as Managing Director of the Handicrafts & Handloom Corporation. IAS Ritika (2019 batch) has been given the charge of Additional Controller of Stores in the Industries Department, a responsibility earlier held by Dr. Harish Gajju.

IAS Abhishek Verma (2018 batch), who was earlier posted as Director, Digital Technologies & Governance, will now serve as Director, Land Records. Meanwhile, IAS Dr. Nipun Jindal (2014 batch) will continue as Director, Digital Technologies & Governance and has also been given additional charge as Managing Director of HRTC.
