Shimla, May 20:
In a key decision, the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) has announced that employees under the National Pension System (NPS) will now receive Dearness Allowance (DA) in line with central government rates.

This move follows the guidelines issued by the Union Ministry of Finance on April 2, 2025, and will apply to all NPS-subscribed employees of HPSEBL. Eligible employees will receive DA benefits retrospectively from the dates specified by the Government of India. The decision has received the necessary approval from the competent authority.

As per the official notification issued by the board, concerned departments have been instructed to download the order directly from the board’s website and take necessary action. The order will not be circulated by post.
