Chief Minister Expresses Condolences Over Death in Chamba Cloudburst
Shimla, May 4: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the tragic death of a man following a cloudburst near Dondra Nala in Cheli village, Chamba district, on Friday night.
Extending his condolences to the bereaved family, the Chief Minister prayed for peace to the departed soul. An interim relief of ₹25,000 has been provided to the affected family.
According to preliminary reports, around 150 sheep and goats were swept away in the flash floods triggered by the cloudburst. The Chief Minister assured that the state government stands firmly with the affected family during this difficult time and will extend all possible support.
