Shimla, 09 April: A successful blood donation camp was held today at the National Law University Shimla, in collaboration with the Himachal Pradesh State Red Cross Society. A total of 84 units of blood were collected during the event, which was aimed at encouraging the community to contribute to this noble cause.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh State Red Cross Society, emphasized the importance of blood donation, calling it a “great donation” that can save lives. He urged more people to step forward and donate, underscoring the life-saving potential of even a single donation.

During the event, the Vice Chancellor of National Law University Shimla, Prof. Preeti Saxena, honored the blood donors by presenting them with certificates of appreciation. Other notable attendees included Youth Red Cross Unit Coordinator Dr. Rohit Sharma, Youth Red Cross Unit President Rumil Chawla, District Red Cross Assistant Secretary Surinder Gautam, and volunteer Virendra Bisht.
