Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to Set Up a Exhibition On the Mall Shimla From Today
There will be an exhibition called “Khadi Utsav” 2025 to be organized by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises from tomorrow, 20 February, 2025 till 08 March, 2025.
The exhibition will feature a range of Khadi clothing, such as dhatu, shawls and all other garments from the Pahari source.
The banner, featuring an image of Gandhiji weaving on his Charkha, and a brand message cast in the sound of the vocal for local and Swadesi Apnao, seems all set with its hashtags such as #MyKhadiMyPride and #ViksitBharat.
The PMEGP has greatly impacted the exhibition, which has been open to public view for nearly 16 days and encourages the setting up of micro-businesses in urban and rural areas.
On dry and cold days, tourists definitely get a try hiding under the warmth of the Himalayas. Hope it shows the real mix of Himachalis, their culture draped in each stitch of its worn fabrics, each thread that women weave, after she has worked tirelessly stitching for its people.
