The ruling Congress party government of Himachal Pradesh took a positive decision in the last state cabinet meeting to increase the honorarium of 4800 multi-task workers working in HPPWD by Rs 500, after which this notification has been made effective on Saturday. Let us tell you that during the discussion on the budget of 2024-25 in the state assembly budget session held in the month of February, CM Sukhu had said that the state government will increase the honorarium of 4800 multi-task workers working in HPPWD effective this year.

There will be economic improvement in the lives of multi-task workers –

The decision of the Himachal Pradesh government to increase the honorarium of 4800 multi-task workers of the state by Rs 500 is going to improve their economic condition. Earlier, for many years, the multi-task workers of the state were given a monthly honorarium of Rs. 4500 at the rate of Rs. 150 per day for duty of more than 8 hours, due to which, in today’s rising inflation, the family life and responsibilities of the multi-task workers were not improving, but the increase of Rs. 500 in the monthly honorarium by the Sukhu government is going to bring some improvement, if not much.
