23-year-old youth arrested with 29.19 grams of chitta in Bilaspur

Bilaspur, September 13: The special police team of Bilaspur district has taken strict action against smugglers and has arrested smugglers one after the other and put them behind bars.
On Thursday evening, the special police team had set up a blockade near Gala Mod. During this, the police stopped a bike rider, who panicked after seeing the police.
When the police searched, 29.19 grams of chitta was recovered from the bike rider. The accused was identified as Sanjeev Kumar son of Rampal resident of Moda Ropar Punjab, age 23 years.
Confirming the case, DSP Madan Dhiman said that 29.19 grams of chitta was recovered from a youth and a case has been registered at Swarghat police station and the accused has been taken into custody. The police has started further action.
