Shimla, 08 September: Those officers who do not hesitate to burden the government treasury by taking separate salary and allowances despite a hefty pension on getting re-employed after retirement should definitely learn from HL Gejta, who retired from the post of Tehsildar. These officers use all their contacts to get re-employed and take all the facilities from the government. HL Gejta is an example for such officers because he will give his services to the government on a salary of just one rupee. Although the government has given him re-engagement with the prescribed emolument. But he has refused to take it, he is being praised everywhere for this decision.
HL Gejta retired from the post of Tehsildar Recovery from the office of District Magistrate Shimla on 31 August. The government has given him re-employment and re-engaged him with the prescribed emolument. But Gejta has decided that he will take a monthly salary of just one rupee from the department. For this, he has written a letter to the District Magistrate and Additional Chief Secretary Revenue. In this way, Gejta does not want to burden the government treasury by taking a salary of one rupee.
