Shimla, August 27: The BJP Legislature Party meeting was held at Hotel Dhruv under the chairmanship of Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur.

Jairam Thakur said that the monsoon session is important and the BJP has sought answers from the government under several notices. The law and order situation in the state has deteriorated. Two youths were beaten up in Nalagarh, one died and the other is serious.

Notices have been issued to the government regarding the damage caused by the rain, the burden of the government will also be discussed. He said that the BJP is ready to surround the government in the assembly session.

Jairam said that the reason for not attending the all-party meeting was already told but the BJP Legislature Party is very angry and disappointed with the government. The way the minister of the ruling party has commented on the tradition is not right, Congress ministers should not mention the tradition as they have broken many traditions before.

He said that the choice of words of the Speaker was also not right, whatever is said inside the Assembly ends there but it is not right to use abusive words in a public function. The Speaker had said that the heads of 6 MLAs have been cut and 3 have been sawed, no MLA is ready to listen to these words.

This is a blatant violation of decorum. The Speaker has no regrets about this and neither does he have any information about this.

MLAs Sukhram Chaudhary, Vikram Thakur, Satpal Singh Satti, Balveer Verma, Vinod Kumar, Rakesh Jamwal, JR Katwal, Indra Gandhi, Reena Kashyap, Randhir Sharma, Surendra Shourie, Pawan Kajal, DS Thakur, Purna Thakur, Janak Raj and Dalip Thakur were present in the meeting.
