Case registered under new sections of the Indian Penal Code –

In this case, a case was to be registered under sections 341, 323, 504, 506 under the Indian Penal Code. But now, after the implementation of sections of the Indian Judicial Code, this case has been registered under sections 126 (2), 115 (2), 352 and 351 (2). It is worth noting that while there were 511 sections in the Indian Penal Code, now there are only 357 sections in the Indian Judicial Code which came into force from July 1.

With the implementation of new laws, there has been a change in the legal sections, an example of which can be seen in the first FIR registered in Himachal Pradesh. The impact of this change in police and judicial processes will be seen more clearly over time.
