Shimla, June 30: The Himachal Pradesh branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organised the “CA Run for Developed India” at Ambedkar Chowk in Capital Shimla on Sunday. The run is a significant step towards promoting fitness, unity and the vision of a developed India by 2047 as envisioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The run started at 6:00 am from Ambedkar Chowk and the enthusiasm and energy of the participants was evident as they gathered in large numbers to support this noble cause.Dr RK Purthi, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Himachal Pradesh, attended the event as the Chief Guest and flagged off the run.The presence and encouraging words of Dr RK Purthi motivated all the participants and underlined the importance of such initiatives in promoting community spirit and national development. He also distributed trophies to the winners.

CA Pankaj Sharma, Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Branch, said that CA Naresh Vishisht stood first in the age group above 50 years, CARP Chaudhary second and CADL Duggal third. CA Sachin Dogar stood first in the age group below 50 years, CA Manish Gupta second and CA Tilak Raj Sharma third and in the girl’s category, Saanvi Dogar stood first, Surbhi second, Anush Sharma third and in the boy’s category, Naman stood first and Vikas second.
HP Branch President, CA Naresh Vashisht thanked all the participants and emphasized the role of Chartered Accountants in nation building. He said that “CA Run for Developed India” is not just an event, but it is a symbol of our commitment towards the vision of a developed India. Such events not only take care of our health but also keep us mentally and physically fit.
