Himachal News: Hamirpur Young Man died after falling on the platform and getting hit while alighting from the moving Jan Shatabdi train

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, June 16 :A person fell on the platform while getting off the train at Amb railway station in Una district of Himachal Pradesh.During the entire accident, a person who fell on the platform and got hit by the train was taken to Amb Hospital where he was declared dead by senior doctors.
The deceased person has been identified by the railway police as Sunny Thakur, age 32, son of Surjeet Singh, resident of village Amlehar, Tehsil Nadun, Hamirpur District.
The body of the deceased Sunny Thakur has been taken into custody by the Railway Police and sent to the Regional Hospital Una for post-mortem. Also, the RPF in-charge has registered the entire case and started investigation.
The RPF in-charge informed that Sunny Thakur, resident of village Amlahehar, Tehsil Nadun, Hamirpur District, reached Amb railway station on Sunday morning at 4.30 am to see his friend’s sister off to the Jan Shatabdi train. As soon as the train started moving, Sunny Thakur started alighting from the Jan Shatabdi train.
Meanwhile, while getting down from the moving Jan Shatabdi train, Sunny Thakur fell on the platform. As soon as he fell on the platform, Sunny Thakur got hit by the moving Jan Shatabdi train. Sunny Thakur, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Amb Hospital by the local people, where Sunny Thakur was declared dead by the doctors.
As soon as the information about the entire accident was received, RPF reached the spot and took the body of the deceased Sunny Thakur in its possession and sent it to the regional hospital Una for post-mortem.
Una RPF in-charge ASI Ajay Airy said that the body of the deceased Sunny Thakur has been sent to the Regional Hospital Una for post-mortem. Along with this, the entire case has been registered and investigation has been started.
