Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, June 05A bus and a car collided fiercely in Talghar under Urla on Mandi-Pathankot National Highway-154 in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, due to which the car has been completely damaged in the accident.Also, five people including the driver of the car were seriously injured in the entire accident, due to which the condition of all is said to be critical.

All the five seriously injured people were immediately taken to the Civil Hospital Padhar in a critical condition, from where the doctors gave first aid to all the five injured and referred them to the Zonal Hospital Mandi considering their critical condition.

Let us tell you that the collision between the bus and the car was so strong that after the entire accident, there has been a jam on Mandi-Pathankot National Highway-154 for two hours.

The Padhar police station in-charge said that A bus of Ram Transport going from Mandi district to Palampur in Kangra at a very high speed hit a taxi coming from Palampur towards Mandi. He said that in the entire accident, a total of five people including the car driver were seriously injured. Due to which 108 ambulance was called and all the five seriously injured were taken to the Civil Hospital Padhar, from where as soon as their condition worsened, all the five injured had to be referred to the Zonal Hospital Mandi.He said that the entire accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when heavy rain started in Mandi district.

The entire accident took place at Talgahar under Urla on Mandi-Pathankot National Highway-154, ten kilometers away from the sub-divisional headquarters of Padhar in Mandi district, but due to traffic jam, the Padhar police station in-charge and his team were delayed by more than an hour in reaching Talgahar from Padhar.

After the tragic accident, there was a long jam on the entire road from Urla to Talgahar on Mandi-Pathankot National Highway-154 for two hours, due to which school children as well as other people had to face terrible difficulties.

DSP Padhar Police Administration Dinesh Kumar said that the five seriously injured in the accident have been referred by the doctors from Padhar Hospital to Zonal Hospital Mandi in critical condition. On receiving the information of the accident, Padhar Police Station in-charge and his team immediately reached the spot and cleared the jam at the incident spot Talghar and resumed the movement of all vehicles. The entire matter is being investigated thoroughly by Padhar Police Station in-charge.
