Himachal News: Scholarship Of 350 Students In Danger Due To Irregularities In application
Director Higher Education Department, Dr. Amarjeet Sharma said that a letter has also been sent to all the institutions in this regard.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla , March 12: Clouds of crisis are looming over the scholarships of around 350 students posted in government schools and colleges of Himachal. The reason for this is the students themselves. The application that these students have made for post matric scholarship on the scholarship portal is incomplete. These students had applied for the academic session 2023-24, which has many shortcomings.

Verification has revealed that the father’s name written in the application by some students is wrong in the documents. Some have not submitted the income certificate. Whereas in some cases, the affidavit regarding the gap in studies has not been attached. Whereas in some, the formalities ranging from mark sheet, caste certificate and many other types of formalities have not been completed.

Director Higher Education Department, Dr. Amarjeet Sharma said that a letter has also been sent to all the institutions in this regard. In which it has been said that they should make the students apply again and get it verified in a proper manner. After that further action will be taken in this matter.
