Mandi News: Glimpse Of 10 Incarnations Of Guru Padmasambhava Seen In Chham Dance, Grand Procession Also Taken Out

Chham dance has been organized by Buddhist followers and lamas in the courtyard of Guru Padmasambhava Nyingmapa Buddhist Monastery on the second day of the three-day state level Chhechu fair at Rewalsar in Upper Balh area of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.

The 10 incarnations of Guru Padmasambhava were depicted in the Chham dance. During this, the Lamas performed the Chham dance wearing different types of masks on their faces.

There has been great eagerness among people to see the Chham dance. Before this, a procession was also taken out from Nyingmapa temple to the lake.

Gods and Goddesses have participated in the procession. SDM Vishal Sharma was especially present in this procession. After the procession, Buddhist Lamas performed prayers and circumambulated the historic lake.

On the other hand, Guru Dudujam Rinponche Tenzin Yese Dorje has blessed the Buddhist devotees with his sermons, wishing them long life while enjoying the lake parikrama from his Chhewang for the second day.

On the second day, the fair organizing committee has also organized the first cultural evening.

In this, folk singer AC Bhardwaj of Himachal Pradesh entertained the devotees with his performances of Hindi, Pahari and Punjabi songs. On this occasion, the audience sitting in the pandal danced a lot on the presentations. The center of maximum attraction has been Chham dance. Buddhist followers from all over the country and the world have come to see this.

On the second day of this three-day state level fair, various competitions and cultural programs have also been organized by the fair committee.

On this occasion, Nagar Panchayat President Sunita Devi, Councilor Salochana Devi, Kamal etc. were present.
