Shimla: Three Killed, Two Injured Including Couple In Car Plunge Into Satluj River

Three people, including a couple, have died on the spot in a horrific road accident on Luhri-Sunni road in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh.

Two people have been injured in the complete road accident.

According to complete information, a car had fallen into the Sutlej river adjacent to Maholi at night on the Luhri-Sunni road under Police Station Kumarsain.

Anshul Faniyan, son of Radhe Shyam, resident of VPO Ribba, District Kinnaur, recorded his statement at Police Station Kumarsen and said that he was going towards Chandigarh in a Celerio vehicle with vehicle number HP 25A-4660. Abhay Kumar was driving the Celerio car number HP 25A-4660.

When he reached Maholi Sainj Sunni road, Celerio driver Abhay Kumar suddenly lost control over the Celerio car and the Celerio car crashed and fell into the Sutlej river.

In the complete road accident, Celerio car driver Abhay Kumar, aged twenty-five years, son of Dev Ram Negi, main resident of village Jhaka Reckong Peo and Jitesh main resident of village Jani Tapri and Jitesh’s wife Vanshika, aged twenty-four years, died on the spot.

On the other hand, two other persons have been injured in the complete road accident, both the injured have been taken to Kumarsain Hospital with immediate effect for first aid.

Kumarsain police station in-charge has registered the entire case and started the investigation process of the road accident.
