Shimla News: HRTC Driver Accused Of Raping In Government Bus, Woman Lodged Complaint In Police Station

According to the complete information received from Rampur police station in-charge, a woman from Rampur in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, has made serious allegations of rape against an HRTC bus driver posted at Rampur depot of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation.
In the complaint given to Rampur police station in-charge, the woman from Rampur has told that about two months ago she was standing in the new bus stand of Rampur. Here, Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation driver Keshav Ram, resident of district Solan, who was standing with the HRTC bus, with whom he was acquainted, called him and coaxed him and took him to the Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation bus.
HRTC bus driver Keshav Ram had raped the woman in the HRTC bus.
After the rape incident, the woman was completely terrified and HRTC bus driver Keshav Ram started threatening the woman.
Last Saturday, late in the evening, the rape victim woman reached Rampur police station and lodged a complaint of serious rape against HRTC bus driver Keshav Ram.
On the other hand, Rampur police station in-charge has registered the complaint of the rape victim woman and has started further action against HRTC bus driver Keshav Ram.
Rampur police station has registered a complaint against HRTC bus driver Keshav Ram under CrPC 164 and the rape victim woman is going to be taken to the Judicial Magistrate on Monday to record her statement.
Confirming the entire matter, DSP Theog Siddharth Sharma told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that a complaint of sexual harassment has been lodged by the rape victim woman at Rampur Police Station Rampur against Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation driver Keshav Ram. By registering a complaint under CrPC 164, Rampur police station in-charge has started the entire action process against HRTC bus driver Keshav Ram. After registering the complaint of the rape victim, the teams of Rampur Police Station have started the further investigation process of the entire case.
