Now 700 Roads in the Himachal Pradesh Will be Constructed Using FDR Full Depth Reclamation Technology
Hamirpur News-Now seven hundred roads in the state will be constructed with FDR full depth reclamation technique. The roads constructed with this technique will not deteriorate soon. It is noteworthy that till now this technique has been used on roads in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
In Hamirpur, public Circle Superintending Engineer of the Construction Department, Vijay Choudhary said that about a dozen roads in the district will be constructed with this technique. He said that in the hilly states, FDR Full Depth Reclamation technique will save cost and time and will also cause less damage to the environment. This will be beneficial.
There are two advantages of FDR full depth reclamation technology. One is the existing structure. If you look at the old technology, we used to use G1, G2 technology and to lay new layers on top of it, we would first remove the prime layers and keep them aside.
Do not reuse them. What is there in this technique, we will reuse them, some chemical, some cement and such composition is used and completely mineral new concrete is used. There are two benefits from this, one is our bearing capacity and that of payment. The number increases and among the natural resources, very less material is used even in less capacity.
