Himachal News : Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh has said that the state government is assessing the damage caused by heavy rains and floods. And relief and rehabilitation work is being done on a war footing.
He reviewed the damage caused by the disaster by meeting with the officials at Arki in Solan district.
Anirudh Singh said that heavy rains have caused a loss of about Rs 92 crore in Arki sub-division. Traffic has been restored on 50 of the 56 roads damaged by landslides.
He told that all the water supply schemes of Jal Shakti Department have been made smooth in Arki sub-division.
Anirudh Singh along with Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthi visited several places in Arki assembly constituency to assess the damage and interacted with the affected.
