Indian National Team Captain Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the Mumbai Indians franchise in the edition of the WPL, the match will begin on March 4 in Mumbai. Harmanpreet was not the most expensive player bought by Mumbai at the auction last month but she was expected to lead the side, which featured other top international names such as Nat Sciver- Brunt, Hayley Matthews and AmelliaKer.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Women’s team got a major boost as star International cricketers Dane Van Niekerk and Erin Burns have joined the team ahead of the much-awaited 2023 Women’s Premier League.
The team also welcomed former South African captain Dane van Niekerk and an experienced player Erin Burns of Australia to the training which provide a huge boost to the confidence of the talented players and is also a big opportunity for the young players like Shreyanka Patil and Disha Kasat to learn from the best in this field.
Dane van Niekerk, who was controversially left out of the South Africa squad for the recently concluded Women’s T20 World Cup, was in a good mood as she had an eventful first day in the training session.
Poonam Khemnar, Komal Zanzad, Indrani Roy, Kanika Ahuja, Preeti Bose and Asha Shobana also were part of the training session.
The team management of Royal Challengers Bangalore will welcome their aggressive captain Smriti Mandhana to the camp soon. Mandhana, who took part in the Women’s T20 World Cup, is set to join the camp as they prepare for the inaugural WPL season.
