Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Nahan, March 14: Raj Pandit Ramesh Mishra of Sirmour state died late Thursday afternoon. On Thursday around 12 noon, he left home for the city palace as per his daily routine. When his health suddenly deteriorated around 12.30, he was immediately taken to the Medical College Nahan. After his condition became stable, the doctors discharged him after some time.

Nature had something else in store, as soon as Raj Pandit Ramesh Mishra reached Upper Street, his health deteriorated again. Probably died at home. After this the son was again taken to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.

Some time ago, he also became the architect of organizing a grand Bhagwat Katha in Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Late Ramesh Mishra objective behind organizing Bhagwat was that the young generation of the locality should progress a lot. He often used to listen to everyone in a sweet and slow voice.

Ramesh Mishra, about 71 years old, had obtained the title of Acharya from Sanskrit College in 1972. Ramesh Mishra retired from the post of Shastri from Vikrambagh in the year 2012.

Late Pandit Baijnath, father of late Ramesh Kumar Mishra, the third among the four brothers, and his elder brother late Sumer Chand Mishra were counted among the top scholars during the concession period. Late Ramesh Mishra has left behind a family consisting of two sons, Sachin and Gaurav.

Younger brother Yogesh Mishra, who retired from the post of forest range officer in the forest department, said that the funeral will be held at 10 am on Friday. On the other hand, different sections of the society have expressed deep condolence on the sudden demise of late Ramesh Mishra.
