UPPSC recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The Uttar Pradesh public service Commission has released the Eligibility criteria for the UPPSC recruitment exam to be on the following basis:

Age Limit

• For the Post of Regional prohibition and social Uplift officer the age of the candidates must not be less than 21 years and must not exceed 40 years.
• For the post of Technical Officer the age of candidate should not be less than 21 years and should not exceed 40 years of age.
• For Assistant Drilling Engineer the age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and should not exceed 40 years of age.
• For the post of the Principal the age of the candidates should not be less than 35 years and should not exceed the age of 50.

Educational qualifications

Educational qualifications required for the posts are as follows:

For the post of Regional prohibition and social uplift officer:

• The Applying candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in economics and Sociology from a renowned institution and boards.
• The Candidate must also have a good knowledge of Hindi.
• Candidates possessing one or more of the following specializations may get preference in the field:
• A master’s degree in economics, sociology and social welfare.
• A degree in law.
• Experience in social Uplift and prohibition.

For the post of Technical Officer:

• The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Bio chemical engineering or Biotechnology from a recognized university.
• Master’s degree in Chemical engineering or Bio chemical engineering or biotechnology from a recognized institution.
• Preference are given to the candidates who possess:
• Served in the teritorial army for atleast 2 years.
• Obtained ‘B’ grade in NCC.

For the post of Assistant drilling engineer the candidates need to possess following qualifications:

• Degree in Mining ot Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university established by law in India with atleast 2 years of experience in dimond drilling.
• Preference to the candidates who’ll possess these qualifications:
• Has served in teritorial army for atleast 2 years.
• Candidate has ovrainrd ‘B’ grade in NCC.

For the post of Principal in the Ayurvedic Department the following qualifications are needed:

• 5 years degree in Ayurveda from university established by law or by Board of Indian medicine or any other recognized State board.
• Twelve years of teaching experience including atleast 5 years of experience as professor or Head of the department.
• Knowledge of Hindi, english and sanskrit.
• Post graduation certificate.
• Research work and publication or books or paper works.

For the Post of Principal ( Homeopathy Department)

• Post Graduation qualifications in Homeopathy.
• Should have atleast two years of experience as a professor in recognised university.

UPPSC RECRUITMENT 2023 APPLICATION DETAILS

In order to Apply for the above posts the candidates need to follow the following steps.

Step 1: Open the application portal  https://uppsc.up.nic.in/ .

Step 2: Click on the registration link. A new registration portal will appear.

Step 3: Register Yourself by filling all the required details. After this your Registeation number and other details will be emailed to you.

Step 4: Login with the ID and password sent to you via Email  an upload required scanned documents.

Step 5: Finish the process by paying the Fee applied and submit the application.

UPPSC RECRUITMENT 2023 Application Fee

The Fee applied for the different categories is as followed:

• General/ Unreserved: Application Fee ₹80 + Online Processing fee ₹25 = ₹105.
• SC/ST: Application Fee NIL + Online Processing fee ₹25= ₹25.
• Handicapped: ₹25.
• Ex servicemen: ₹65.

The vacancies and salary available for posts are:

Regional prohibition and social uplift officer ( 02 seats) : Rs. 44,900 – Rs. 142400.

Technical officer (02 seats) : Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500.

Assistant drilling engineer ( 01) :  Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500,

Principal (Ayurveda Department) (04) : Rs. 56,100- Rs. 1,77,500.
