Unique initiative of D.Krishna Kumar of Mysore, getting elderly mother on scooter for Matri Seva Sankalp Yatra

D Krishna Kumar from Mysore has been taking his elderly mother on a scooter for Maa Seva Sankalp Yatra for the last five years. Till now he has visited Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar apart from India.

After the death of his father in the year 2015, he came to know that his mother had not done a single pilgrimage. To fulfill this wish of his mother, he resigned from his job in the year 2018 and started this journey on a scooter and till now he has reached Chamba after completing a journey of about seventy two thousand kilometers.

Krishna Kumar said that his journey continues and he is trying to play a role like Shravan Kumar in this era.

Talking to Diary Times, he said – I gave immediate priority, took my mother and traveled all over India as well as Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar in this scooter.

This scooter was given to me by my father twenty years ago as a gift, therefore considering this scooter as my father, considering this scooter as my father’s replica, I have traveled 71495 kilometers till now by taking my mother in this scooter, And still traveling.

He said – I have visited four countries. This whole India as well as Nepal, Burma and I was showing it to my mother in this scooter and along with this we will go further.
