Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, March 30:Â A nominated councilor died in a tragic road accident in Rampur under Sadar police station of Una district, while his colleague was injured. The deceased has been identified as Karnail Singh, son of Chudu Ram, resident of Ward No. 9 Baihalli Mohalla, Una. The police have started further action by conducting post-mortem of the dead body at Regional Hospital Una .

According to the information, Karnail Singh resident of Baihalli Mohalla was coming to Santoshgarh on Friday night riding a scooty with Narendra Puri resident Santoshgarh. Meanwhile, on reaching Rampur, the scooter went out of control. Both of them injured in the accident were taken to the regional hospital Una. Where Karnail Singh was declared dead, while the treatment of injured Narendra Puri is going on.
Superintendent of Police Una Rakesh Singh said that the police has started the investigation after post-mortem of the body. Further action is being implemented.
