Monsoon rains have caused huge devastation in the state for the last two-three days. Where normal life has been affected due to this rain, nine people have lost their lives and fourteen people have been injured in the incidents of cloudburst and floods.

Raja Disaster Management Secretary Omkar Sharma said that in two days, property worth about Rs 103 crore has been damaged in the state. At present, more than 100 roads in the state are closed for traffic and 16 cattle sheds were washed away. And three hundred and twelve cattle were killed.

The State Secretary said that the alert is still going on for the last one week. In Shimla, you can see that the weather is fine, but in other places, this alert is going on that sometimes there may be more rain in this region. So we are taking people as a precaution in the same way as before.

As of now, nine people have died due to monsoon in four days. Fourteen people have been injured. Three hundred and twenty two livestock have been lost. Yes, it is partial damage.

Apart from this, our transformer and roads have suffered a lot of damage and so far the initial estimate available with us is about one hundred and four crore rupees, the loss has been assessed. But this is a continuous process. Detailed estimation can go further.
