Twenty-four year old soldier martyr Rohit Kumar of Lanj Gram Panchayat of Shahpura assembly constituency of Kangra district has attained martyrdom. The mortal remains of martyr Rohit Kumar reached his ancestral Lanj Gram Panchayat on Thursday morning.

Twenty-four year old soldier Rohit Kumar of Lanj Gram Panchayat of Shahpur assembly constituency of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh has merged into the Panchatatvas. The mortal remains of martyred soldier Rohit Kumar of Lanj Gram Panchayat reached his ancestral Lanj Gram Panchayat on Thursday morning.

During the arrival of the mortal remains, all the students of Lung School saluted the martyred soldier Rohit Kumar.

Twenty-four year old martyred soldier Rohit Kumar of Lanj Gram Panchayat had his primary education from Lanj School. Martyr soldier Rohit Kumar had joined the Indian Army in the year 2018 and martyr soldier Rohit Kumar was posted on duty on the China border in north-eastern Arunachal Pradesh.

On Monday, Rohit Kumar, a soldier of Lanj Gram Panchayat, fell into a deep gorge after slipping on the glacier.

After a long rescue operation by the Indian Army, twenty-four year old soldier Rohit Kumar of Lanj Gram Panchayat was pulled out of the extremely deep gorge.

Rohit Kumar, a soldier of Lanj Gram Panchayat, was taken out of the terrible deep ditch after hours of rescue operation and was immediately admitted to the Indian Army Hospital. After that, Rohit, a twenty-four year old martyred soldier of Lanj Gram Panchayat, was rescued by the doctors in the Indian Army Hospital. Kumar was declared dead.

As soon as the news of the martyrdom of twenty-four year old soldier Rohit Kumar was received, there was mourning in the entire Lanj Gram Panchayat area.

Twenty-four year old martyred soldier Rohit Kumar was unmarried. Martyr soldier Rohit Kumar has merged into the five elements, leaving behind his mother and younger sister.

On the other hand, Shahpur assembly constituency MLA Kewal Singh Pathania has also expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of martyr soldier Rohit Kumar.
