Students are facing difficulties due to non-availability of science faculty in State Senior Secondary School, Loh degree, which falls under Churah election assembly constituency of Chamba district.
Significantly, this school is considered to be the center point of fifteen panchayats and even after repeated demands from the government in this regard, the study of this subject is not being started.
The students said that due to the science stream in the school, they are forced to take education in the art subject. They said that due to this problem, their dreams are not coming true in the future.
Talking to Diary Times, a student of the school said – I come here to study but this school is far away from our village and there is no teacher or subject to study or teach science in this school. But we love to read it.
We can study science even if we don’t have any subject in our school, we study in art only. We have to go to Chamba or Bhindraru to study science subject, which our family members have to spend a lot. They send us to school by doing wages, but to send us to Chamba and Bhindraru to teach science, their wages are not fully met and it is also necessary to have this education in our school.
We have to come from far away for education here there are eight subjects and there is no science, we can also study science but our family members teach us by working as laborers and our school is far away. We are not even taught science here. Can also study but for that we have to go to Chamba or Bhindraru.
So we face a lot of problems, it costs a lot of money to go there. In this regard, the principal of the school, Shakti Sood, said that this school is a leader in the field of education. She demanded from the government that the science community should be taught in the school. It should be started. So that students can get good education in this field.
The principal of the school said – I also faced what you are saying, I talked to my staff, then they said that the science here could not start, but with the service of the staff and We will try to serve the public, we will definitely write from here too and you are the media, you are a pillar of the society, you also try so that I have seen the face of the children here, I have seen the children here are very intelligent. They are very good, the teachers here are very good, so when I also want that science faculty should start here and children should get this facility as soon as possible, it is the era of science.
