SPU Mandi: 42 Seats Will Be Filled Through Direct Admission In PhD, SPU Completed The Application Process.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, March 18: A total of 42 seats in all subjects will be filled through direct admission in PhD in Sardar Patel University Mandi. After the completion of the application process, interviews for admission are now starting from March 21. Interviews for PhD MBA course will be held on 21st March at 10:30 am at Mandav Complex and separate interviews are being conducted by all the departments to fill the seats in other departments.
At present, studies are already going on for 40 PhD seats in various departments in Sardar Patel University and now the same number of seats are being filled without entrance examination.

Only those candidates are being given a chance in the direct admission process, who have passed UGC NET (JRF), UCC-CSIR (JRF), ICMR or any examination sponsored by the Government of India.

Talking about subject wise seats for JRF pass candidates for direct admission in PhD, 12 seats are to be filled in MBA, four in Botany, seven in Chemistry, five in Zoology, 12 in Physics and four in History.

SPU Mandi Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anupama Singh said that 42 PhD seats are being filled by the Sardar Patel University without entrance examination. For this, interviews of JRF pass candidates are being organized.
