Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri said that the main accused told the police during interrogation that both of them loved each other but due to some estrangement, the girl stopped talking to the accused and also started blocking the accused on Facebook, WhatsApp, Snapchat and WhatsApp.
Shalini Agnihotri said that when the accused had a rift with the girl, he came to Palampur from Nagrota Bagwan to meet the girl, but when the accused met the girl, the girl refused to talk due to which the accused went mad.
The most important thing is that the accused had brought pieces of darat in his bag, after which the girl of Sullah was attacked with the darat about ten to twelve times on the stairs of the bus stand.
But the people of the bus stand were surprised to see all this, first of all they saved the girl from the attack of the accused, after that they beat the accused a lot and also the local people took the girl in critical condition After giving first aid there, the girl was referred to Tanda Medical College. From there, seeing the condition of the girl worsening, she was referred to PGI, Chandigarh.But right now the girl’s condition is serious.
She said that The accused has also been injured. Palampur police has registered a case against the accused under sections 307, 323, 326 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code and after presenting him in the court on Sunday, the accused has been taken on police remand.
