Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Solan, April 10: The declared criminal who assaulted the driver of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has come into the custody of the police after 11 years.

On June 11, 2013, Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) driver Sunil Kumar, resident of Una, had registered a case at Dharampur police station. According to this, he was going from Amritsar to Shimla in the morning by HRTC bus. Near Sanawara, the Innova running ahead of the bus did not give side. The Innova was parked in front of the bus. The youth present in it, Gurvinder Singh, Gurchant Singh and Fateh Karm Singh, started fighting with the driver. The driver’s uniform was also torn.

The police had registered a case against the accused under sections 341, 353, 332, 506 and 34 of the IPC.

During the hearing in the court, Gurvinder Singh son of Kulbir Singh, resident of Sector 15A, Hisar, Haryana, did not appear. Therefore, the Kasauli court has declared him a fugitive on August 4, 2022.
