Solan News : On the other hand, in Solan district too, people’s houses have been badly damaged due to the disaster. To make up for this loss, approval has been given to build six hundred and eighty houses in the district under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar Yadav said that under this scheme houses will be built for those people whose houses have been completely damaged by the rains in the month of July.
He informed that more than one thousand three hundred houses have been damaged due to rain in the district. He said – Damage assessment is ours, if we talk about the loss, more than six hundred and twenty five crores loss has been done in this monsoon season.
And if we talk about houses, then most of the houses which are more than 1300 have been partially or fully damaged. I would like to tell you that more than 1300 houses have been damaged. Most of these houses were lost due to land sinking or landslides.
Those who went to their homes due to land sinking or landslides, they are houses above two hundred and thirty, rest of the houses have been destroyed due to rain and talking about families, around one thousand families have been affected and nine thousand individuals have been affected. Has happened.
At present, many people have gone to the houses of their nearby relatives or to some of their other houses. I would like to tell you that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, six hundred and eighty houses have been sanctioned in Solan district.
According to the Solan administration, the loss due to natural disaster in the district so far has been estimated at Rs 625 crore. Information about the loss is still being received in some places.
