A supplier of Chitta from Chandigarh has been arrested by special teams of Solan district police administration. The entire action has been taken by the special teams of Solan District Police Administration on the trail of two accused already arrested in connection with Chitta. After this, the main accused has been arrested from Chandigarh by the special teams of Solan District Police Administration. Special teams of Solan District Police Administration have reached Solan with the Chitta accused. The main accused of Chittha arrested from Chandigarh has been identified as Amritpal son of Prem Singh, resident of Tehri Garhwal.
The main accused in the letter, Amritpal, was living in Chandigarh Sector-52 for the last 21 years.
After strict interrogation by the special teams of Solan District Police Administration, it was found that Amritpal used to supply Chitta to the youth from Chandigarh to Himachal, Punjab and Haryana for the last few years.
On investigation of the bank accounts of Amritpal, the main accused in the Chittha scandal arrested from Chandigarh, it has been found that transactions worth lakhs of rupees have been made from Amritpal’s bank account in the recent past.

Solan District Police Administration SP Solan Gaurav Singh, while confirming the matter, told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the special teams of Solan District Police Administration are continuously raiding the drug smugglers, especially those smuggling Chitta and other drugs, in the entire Solan district. The important work of maintaining strict surveillance with the help of CCTV cameras and drones is being done from the control room.
