Six HAS officers of Himachal Pradesh have been promoted to the IAS cadre. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Ministry of Personnel of the Central Government.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 11: Six HAS officers of Himachal Pradesh have been promoted to the IAS cadre. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Ministry of Personnel of the Central Government.

According to the notification, HAS officers Rajeev Kumar, Vivek Chandel, Sunil Sharma, Vinay Kumar, Dilip Kumar Negi and Pankaj Lalit have been included in the IAS cadre.

Presently Dilip Kumar Negi is working as Additional Chief Electoral Officer and Pankaj Lalit as Director of Language and Culture, Rajeev Kumar as Director of Tourism, Vivek Chandel as Director of Fisheries, Sunil Sharma as Special Secretary of Technical Education and Vinay Kumar as Special Secretary of Urban Development and Finance.

Here, the Election Commission has issued instructions to take the services of nine IAS officers of Himachal on election duty in other states. In this regard, the Personnel Department has assigned additional responsibility of the departments of officers going on election duty to seven IAS and one HAS officer. A notification in this regard has been issued on Wednesday night.

The officers going on election duty include Rohan Chand Thakur, Sudesh Kumar Mokta, DC Negi, Rajeshwar Goyal, Aditya Negi, Kamal Kant Saroch, Neeraj Kumar, Rupali Thakur and Ram Kumar Gautam.
