The victim alleges that a person duped him of thousands of rupees on the pretext of getting him a job. The victim has lodged an FIR against the accused. The entire case is from Chotta Shimla police station area.

Ashish, a resident of Mehli in Shimla, in a complaint to the Chotta Shimla police station in-charge said that some time ago he met Suraj, a resident of Sanjauli. Suraj had offered him a job as a data entry operator in Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Product Marketing and Processing Corporation Limited (HPMC), a government undertaking located in Nigam Bihar, Shimla.
Accused Suraj had told the victim Ashish that he had good contacts and he would get him a government job in HPMC. In return, accused Suraj had demanded thousands of rupees. Victim Ashish fell into his trap and on June 25, he gave about 18 thousand 700 rupees to the accused.
Victim Ashish said that the accused Suraj had promised to get him a job soon and had also issued him a joining letter for the post of data entry operator.
According to the victim Ashish, on July 01, the accused Suraj told him that the job has been cancelled. The victim was shocked when he traced the joining letter issued by the accused and it turned out to be fake. After this, he came to know that he has been cheated.
The victim Ashish also alleges that the accused man has cheated many people in this manner in the past.
However, on the complaint of the victim, the Chotta Shimla police station in-charge has registered a case of fraud and started investigation. The accused has not been arrested yet.
