Shimla News: Himachal Pradesh University HPU Shimla Honoured All Forty-Eight Players Who Performed Brilliantly In Sports.
An award distribution ceremony for all the players was organized at Himachal Pradesh University Auditorium on Tuesday. In this event, Vice Chancellor of HPU Shimla, Professor SP Bansal and Pro Vice Chancellor, Professor Rajindra Verma presented awards to all the forty eight players who performed well in the field of sports. He has been honored with a medal while being rewarded.

The University Sports and Extra-curricular Council of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla, organized a felicitation ceremony on Tuesday to honor all the talented young sportspersons.
Acting Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, Professor SP Bansal, representing Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) Shimla in North Zone and All India Inter University and Khelo India University Games, won Gold, Silver, Bronze and stood first, second, third and All the players who got fourth place have been rewarded.
Cash prizes worth around Rs 3 lakh were distributed to all the players.
Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, Professor SP Bansal said that to improve the sports facilities in all the universities and colleges of Himachal Pradesh, Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and his government will be requested to open sports academies.
HPU Acting Vice Chancellor Professor SP Bansal said that all preparations have been completed for the implementation of the National Education Policy in Himachal Pradesh and soon the National Education Policy will be included in the curriculum of Himachal Pradesh University.
Professor SP Bansal said that in the National Education Policy, all sports and players as well as fitness activities have been made a part of the curriculum under the National Education Policy.
Acting Pro Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, Professor Rajindra Verma said that if humans and youth have willpower then any kind of goal can be achieved.
On this occasion, Himachal Pradesh Physical Education and Youth Program Director Dr. Hari Singh, Himachal Pradesh Dhami College Principal Dr. Janesh Kapoor, Himachal Pradesh DSW Professor SL Kaushal, Assistant Director Dr. Shamsher Rathore etc. guests were present.
All these forty eight players of HPU Shimla were honored –
Mahesh Indra Saini of Indora College, who won the gold medal in Judo in the Himachal Pradesh University Auditorium, Shivam Sharma, student of Dharamshala College, who won the silver medal in the 1500 meter competition under the Inter University Games and the bronze medal in the All India Competition, Nikita, a student of Una College, who won the silver medal in the North Zone 1500 meter meter race competition, Deepika, a student of Reckong Peo, who won the silver medal in the All India Inter University Games, Ekta, a student of Kullu College, who won the bronze medal, Ekta, Reckong Peo, won the silver medal. College winning student Ritu, Dharamshala College winning student Pushpa, Jyoti, Bhavana Devi, Dimple and Drew, Bilaspur College winning student Sakshi Sharma, Sweety, Sanjauli College winning student Richa Negi, Una College winning student Deepika Sharma, Mandi College Ashita, winner student of MLSM Sundernagar, Neha, winner student of MLSM Sundernagar, Sheetal, winner student of Nerva College, Volleyball team member, Dharamshala College, winning student Neha Thakur, Tanisha, Deepika Thakur, Suhani, winning student of Rajgarh College, Simran, winning student of Seema College, RKMV winning student Kajal, Kirti, PG Center winning student Shalu Kumari, Ishu Kalsaik, Sanjauli College winning student Bhavana, Chahat were honoured by Himachal Pradesh University’s acting Vice Chancellor Professor SP Bansal and Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Rajinder Verma.
On the other hand, the winning students of Sanjauli College are Amit Ranta, Sunil Kumar, Ishaan, Sujal Chauhan, Tavish Sharma, the winning students of Seema College are Jagdish Kumar, Raman, the winning students of Una College are Dushyant Thakur, the winning students of HIT Education are Kartik Verma, Daulatpur. Chowk’s winning student Sameer Jaswal, Hamirpur College’s winning student Abhay Thakur, Kullu College’s winning student Akash Thakur, Una’s winning student Karn Choudhary, Abhishek Kapila, Shubham Sambar, Sanjauli College’s winning student Samaksh Dhauta, Parthiv, Nahan College. The winning student Harshit Nautiyal was also honored by Himachal Pradesh University’s Acting Vice Chancellor Professor SP Bansal and Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Rajinder Verma while honouring all these players.
