Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 11: A Mashal Julus has been taken out by the Himachal Pradesh Congress Party on Monday at the historic Ridge Ground in the capital Shimla against the BJP government at the Centre. Congress party workers gathered in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and marched against the BJP central government with Mashal in their hands. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Congress State President Pratibha Singh and Ministers also participated in this demonstration. Congress alleges that the BJP central government is destroying democratic values.

During the demonstration, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that BJP has tried to buy the elected MLAs of the people. Congress has organized Save Democracy March to protest against the attempt to kill democracy.
During the protest, Congress State President Pratibha Singh said that the BJP government at the Center should face the people in the Lok Sabha elections instead of trying to destabilize the state government. The benefits that the central government had promised to the people were not fulfilled. Now the work of giving inducements is being done before the Lok Sabha elections. The cylinder has been made cheaper by Rs 100, which is inadequate.

No major relief was given to the state by the Center in the natural disaster, due to which there is a lot of anger among the people of the state against the Central Government. Whereas Pratibha Singh called the formation of coordination committee a good step. He said that his demand was to give respect to the people of the organization and when the time comes, everyone will be given respect.
