The saddest thing is that in the entire accident, former Indian cricketer and commentator Suresh Raina’s maternal uncle’s son Shubham, who was sitting behind the scooty, also died on the spot.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Dharamshala, May 02:A speeding taxi driver hit two people riding a scooty in Himachal Timber, located near Gaggal Airport in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh and ran away.

Due to not getting timely treatment, both the scooty riding youths died on the spot.The accused taxi driver ran away after hitting him, but if he had taken both the injured to the hospital, both would have been alive today.

Gaggal police station team has arrested the accused taxi driver from Mandi district.

The deceased riding the scooter have been identified by the Gaggal police station in-charge as the scooter driver Saurabh Kumar, resident of Gaggal and Shubham resident of Kuthma.
