RS Bali: Soldiers, Ex-Servicemen And Accredited Journalists Will Get 50 Percent Discount In Corporation Hotels

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Kangra, March 08: Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation President and Nagrota MLA RS Bali said in Kangra district that Himachali soldiers serving in the army will be given fifty percent discount on staying in hotels of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. Fifty percent discount facility will be available to Himachali soldiers for eight months of the year, whereas for four months from March to June, Himachali soldiers will be given 30 percent discount. Also, Himachali soldiers staying in hotels of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation will be given an additional 30 percent discount on food. RS Bali said that the same facility will also be available to ex-servicemen of the himachal and journalists approved by Himachal government.

On the day of Mahashivratri, RS Bali has made this announcement to provide facilities to these sections of Himachal Pradesh and on Monday, notification for these facilities will be issued by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. After that this facility will start for all three categories of people and their families.

During this period, RS Bali has also announced to start Vande Bharat bus service from Palampur to Amb on Saturday. At 8 am, a Volvo bus equipped with hi-tech facilities will start from Palampur and via Nagrota, Kangra and Dehra, the Volvo bus will reach Amb. With Vande Bharat bus service, the people of Kangra district will get the facility to connect with Vande Bharat train facility. They will get this discount on staying and eating in any hotel of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation in Himachal Pradesh and outside.
