Himachal: Police Raid In Pharmaceutical Factory of Mehatpur, Samples For Medicines

After busting a factory of fake medicines in Madanpur Basoli village of Una district, special teams of Una district police administration along with the team of Himachal Pradesh Health Department and Una District Drug Inspector suddenly raided a pharmaceutical industry in Mehatpur of Una district on Saturday. In the action process that lasted for several hours, the investigation teams obtained information about all the medicines being manufactured in the industry and samples of some medicines were also taken. All the samples have been sent to the lab in Kandaghat for test report.

All the details of where all the medicines are being supplied from Mehatpur pharmaceutical industry of Una district have also been collected by the special teams of Una district police administration. It is being told by Una District Police Administration that the main accused, who was preparing fake medicines in Basoli village of Una district, was visiting the medicine factory of Mehatpur. On Friday, when the Una district police administration raided the fake medicine factory in Basoli village, brain tonic made in the medicine factory of Mehatpur along with some capsules were also recovered and sent for forensic testing.
Due to fake brain tonic and some capsules of the pharmaceutical factory of Mehatpur being found in the pharmaceutical factory of Basoli village, special teams of Una district police administration suddenly raided the pharmaceutical factory of Mehatpur.
Most of the Ayurvedic medicines have been prepared in the pharmaceutical factory of Mehatpur for a long time. Una district drug inspector Pankaj Gautam told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that samples of some medicines have been collected, and have been sent to Kandaghat Lab for further testing process. The quality of all the medicines will be known only after the investigation report comes.
On the other hand, Balram Chandel, owner of Mehatpur pharmaceutical industry, told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the accused making fake medicines in Basoli village used to come to Mehatpur pharmaceutical industry to get the machines repaired.
Also, owner of Mehatpur pharmaceutical industry, Balram Chandel told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the medicines manufactured in Mehatpur pharmaceutical factory have been recovered from the accused of Basoli village, The main accused had taken all those medicines for samples from Mehatpur pharmaceutical factory.
