Nakshatra Singh of Bilaspur district has become the first beneficiary of Himachal Pradesh in the Startup Scheme under Sukhashraya Yojana. Nakshatra Singh, a destitute daughter from Bilaspur district, had applied for the startup scheme. The Personnel Department of Himachal Pradesh Government had approved the fashion designing project of destitute daughter Nakshatra Singh of Bilaspur district from the capital Shimla in just twenty-four hours and an amount of Rs 2 lakh has also been released in the bank account of Nakshatra Singh.

Nakshatra Singh, a destitute daughter of Bilaspur district, currently residing in the working women’s hostel of the Directorate of Women and Child Development Department under Sadar sub-division, has become the first destitute daughter of Himachal Pradesh, whose startup project has been approved under the Chief Minister Sukhashraya Yojana. The father of Nakshatra Singh, a destitute daughter of Bilaspur district, passed away in the year 2018, while Nakshatra’s mother also passed away in the year 2021.

Under the guidance of her parents, Nakshatra Singh has studied MSc in Forensic Science and Criminology from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Nakshatra Singh, a destitute daughter of Bilaspur district, told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that she has received the benefit of the Startup Scheme under the Sukhashraya Scheme of the Himachal Pradesh Government.
