Due to which the people of the ward will get relief from water entering their houses during the rainy season. A budget of Rs 8 lakh will be spent by Municipal Council Hamirpur on channelization work. The work has been divided into two phases. In the first phase, there will be dam along with the drain and in the second phase, there will be channelization of the drain. Regarding the construction work, Municipal Council Hamirpur had allotted the tender one and a half month ago so that the construction work could be completed quickly.

Due to the drain located in the ward, there is a lot of damage during the rainy season. The drain water enters the nearby houses. Due to this, people have to face a lot of problems in transportation and there is a danger of epidemic spreading due to dirty water in the ward. In such a situation, the people of the ward were demanding channelization of the drain located in the ward for a long time. Now, with the channelization of drains, people will get relief from problems during rainy season.

Regarding this, Chairman of Municipal Council Hamirpur, Manoj Minhas said that on the demand of the people, channelization of the drain located in the ward is being done by the Municipal Council. After channelization, the people of the ward will get a lot of facilities.
