Vice Chancellor of Technical University, Prof. Shashi Kumar Dhiman participated in the closing ceremony as the chief guest. The Vice Chancellor honored the winning players. In the women’s table tennis doubles, Engineering College Pragatinagar Shimla stood first, Sundernagar College stood second and Green Hills Solan stood third. In men’s doubles, the pair of Engineering College, Juri Rampur stood first, Gautam College second, Sundernagar pair stood third.

In the women’s singles category, Green Hills Solan stood first, Pharmacy College Rohru stood second, Sundernagar stood third, in the men’s singles category Pragatinagar Shimla stood first, Jury Rampur stood second and Sundernagar stood third. In the men’s category of Chess, Engineering College Nagrota Bagwan stood first, Sundernagar second and Engineering College Bandla Bilaspur stood third, in the women’s category Sundernagar stood first, Saraj stood second and PG College Dharamshala stood third. In the men’s category of Carrom Board, Rohru stood first, Juri Rampur second and Saraj third, in the women’s category Gautam College Hamirpur stood first, Rohru second and Pragatinagar Shimla stood third.

In badminton men’s singles category, Green Hills Solan stood first, Bandla Bilaspur stood second and Nagrota Bagwan stood third. In the women’s singles category, Pharmacy College Rakkar stood first, Sundernagar stood second and Juri Rampur stood third. In men’s doubles, Green Hills Solan was the winner, Pharmacy College Nagrota Bagwan was the runner-up and the pair of Engineering College Nagrota Bagwan secured the third position. In the women’s doubles category, Engineering College Sundernagar was the winner, Himalayan Kala Amb was the runner-up and the pair of Rakkar stood third. In the men’s category of volleyball, LIP Kathog was the winner, Gautam College was the runner-up, Himalayan Kala Amb was at the third position, in the women’s category, Seraj Mandi was the winner, Nagrota Bagwan was the runner-up and Green Hills Solan was at the third position.

In handball, the team of Technical University Hamirpur and Kathog Pharmacy College were declared joint winners, while Shiva Pharmacy College stood third. Whereas, in the men’s category of Kabaddi, Gautam College Hamirpur was the winner, Shiva College was the runner-up and Himachal Pharmacy College Nalagarh stood third. In women’s Kabaddi, Gautam College Hamirpur was the winner, HIET Shahpur stood third.

Technical University Dean Academic Prof. Jaydev, Gautam College Managing Director Jagdish Gautam, Secretary Dr. Rajneesh Gautam and other dignitaries were present in the closing ceremony. Teams from Himachal Pradesh Technical University and 26 government and private educational institutions of associated engineering, pharmacy and management have come for the three-day sports competition. A total of 812 players are participating from these educational institutions, in which 587 boys and 225 girl students participated.
