MP Pratibha Singh has reiterated the demand from the Central Government to declare the disaster in the state as a national disaster.
He along with Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi visited the areas affected by heavy rains and landslides in Shimla today and met the affected people.
Talking to journalists, he said that hundreds of people have lost their lives in this disaster and thousands have become homeless.
Pratibha Singh said that the crops of farmers and gardeners have also suffered huge damage.
Such a big tragedy has happened in Himachal.
That Himachal Pradesh to which the Prime Minister had said during the last election that this is my second home and you are not even looking at the other house to see how much tragedy will happen there and how much loss has been caused to its state government.
